The LearnBalance Group is looking for a committed career teacher who loves teaching and experimenting with new creative ideas to help develop an English language curriculum for children aged 5-12. You will be joining a start-up team and can expect to be very involved!

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Teach EFL to children aged 5-12


• Work with the company’s Curriculum Development team to develop English language teaching materials for children and class plans using the curriculum outlined by the Curriculum Development Manager


• Assist with the running of training programmes/workshops for the school’s teachers


• Assist with teacher selection

Qualifications:

• Native speaker of English


• A bachelor’s degree in English Language/Linguistics, Education or any related field (preferably related to early learning development)


• At least 3 year’s experience in teaching primary school age children is a must.


• Ability to design additional teaching materials and activities is necessary.


• Familiarity with the use of phonics in teaching reading and writing is preferred.

Compensation:

• A one-year renewable contract, with a 3-month probation period


• A gross salary of 50,000 THB (taxed at 10% maximum)


• Housing allowance of 5,000 THB
